Came back to check things out and this Owner is on it. They are replacing all the vents just havent gotten to all of them yet. No spider webs on the ceilings this time. Got the Red Curry and boy that is a 5 star dish. Very creamy, great blend of flavors not too hot but just the right amount at a medium spice point.. I dont like mushrooms so next time ill ask to not put those in it. Cant wait to have it again. This is a place I want to continue to support. When an Owner shows a commitment to wanting to be the best and takes suggestions ( do you know how rare that is). I have full faith that they will finish replacing the rest. If you never been here you have to come try it.

Degthai offers a reliable fix for when you're craving a quick hit of Southeast Asian flavors. The menu delivers all the usual suspects--Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Tom Yum--but there is a noticeable taming of the heat and depth you'd expect from authentic Thai fare. It's Thai food with training wheels, good, but missing that fiery kick and complexity. The counter-order, fast-casual setup is efficient, and while the prices won't break the bank, they aren't exactly a steal either. You'll leave satisfied, but not wowed. The best Thai quick fix in town, certainly earns its four stars. Just don't expect it to transport you halfway around the world.

DegThai is my favorite restaurant in the city -- hands down, no contest. Everything I've had here is exquisite, full of flavor, and the portions are large enough for two meals. I rotate between the two curries, both being perfect in their own way. On top of the best food in town (in my opinion), the staff are kind and attentive. Once when we tried to sit outside and came back in after seeing there were no open tables, a staff member saw this and kept an eye on the outdoor tables, helping us move out there immediately after one became available. The space has beautiful art and feels cozy. Everything feels focused on the food and experience without a bunch of unnecessary frills. The only downside is the small parking lot, but they've got extra space out back! We take all of our out of town friends here -- they rave about the food, and they're so pleased to visit an actual Nashvillian favorite rather than the over crowded/priced downtown fare. We'll be back again and again!

Friend took me to Degthai last night. Absolutely loved it! Insanely good !! Authentic Thai! Not a huge menu but what they do have is done amazingly!!! I had the KRA PRAO MOO KAI DAO. And selected the Ass fire for spice level. So spicy delicious!!! The curry is also outstanding! And the dumplings also right up there! Want to go back !

I just moved here to Nashville from the northeast.... And let's just say I'm a little bit of a food snob. This is the best Thai food I've EVER had in my LIFE. My husband and I ordered the chicken pad thai and fried rice. Both dishes were incredibly balanced, seasoned, and tasty. I will definitely be back for more

The Jay's special is a PERFECT meal. Huge portion size, packed with veggies meat and rice, flavorful sauce, a spice packet so you can choose your own spice level. I usually have enough for lunch and dinner. I haven't tried any other meals here, but I love the Jay's Special so much, idk if I ever will the people are nice and the space is large too! You can even sit out on the patio on a nice day. Parking can be dodgy but I usually get lucky and can secure a spot in their lot

Worth all the hype! Parking: is limited - they have a pretty narrow entrance on Nolensville. If you go during lunch hour you may have to drive around for a spot. Food: the dumplings are so full of flavor and the crispy spring rolls have a flaky cooked to perfection texture that is delicious. I love the fried rice but the red curry is also to die for. I try to get the curry in the side as it can be a bit heavy. The jay special is also very good but it has a sweeter forward flavor if you are into that. Service is also wonderful the staff is very attentive and for as many people as go to this place, their restrooms are always clean.

We decided to check out this Nashville gem after it made Yelp's top 100 restaurants list, and it did not disappoint in any area. **Customer Service:** The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was attentive, and they went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. Despite the generous portions, they offered multiple times to replace our dishes with another option when we couldn't finish, mistakenly thinking we didn't enjoy the food. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was truly remarkable. **Food:** - Street Dumplings (6/10): These dumplings were a decent start, but they didn't quite hit the mark for us. They were a bit heavy on the vinegar, which overshadowed other flavors. - Chicken Green Curry (9/10): This dish was a standout! The green curry was among the best we've had in a long time, bursting with flavor and generously loaded with chicken and vegetables. Our only wish was for some eggplant pieces to make it perfect. - Kra Prad Moo Kai Dad (7.5/10): This was recommended with pork over the chicken. This dish delivered a delightful blend of spices. The runny fried egg added a wonderful touch to the rice and pork. We did feel it could benefit from a few more vegetables. - Thai Tea (10/10): Absolutely refreshing, especially in the heat. The thai tea had a perfect balance of flavors and was a delightful to enjoy throughout our meal. The wait staff brough sides of soy sauce, cayenne pepper, chili oil, and my personal favorite, cut-up pickled peppers.... For my fellow South Indians this reminded me of the onion chammanthi we enjoy with kappa. Overall, I would give this place a solid 9/10 for both customer service and food quality. Highly recommended for anyone craving Thai cuisine in Nashville!

We have eaten at Degthai twice. We are from out of state, and on our second trip to Nashville, we had to come back. Everything we have ever ordered is fantastic. Their shrimp pad thai is one of the best I've ever had. It is a must order. It has just the right balance of sweet, sour, and salty. The portions here are huge! You can easily get 2-3 meals out of one entree. Service is very friendly. Parking is tight, so get there early.
